We tap on our keyboards till hours late.
Friends are there, only a ping away.
Send a signal, say hello,
Join a clan, or take it slow.
Millions of voices, all digitized, encoded,
Packetized, transmitted, received and decoded.
A single user alone in a room
No fear of the outside world or its gloom.
Cyberspace, there exist no racism or exclusion,
One would say it offers a solution.
Others say it has its dangers and sins
That we should police it and control it from within.
I say we should leave it alone.
For morality, and ethics begin at home.
I am but one of millions out there.
No better or worse than those who share.
A desire to be free and to roam.
To places far, wide and unknown.
This is my cat Mitzi, she is by far a silly cat. I would not trade her for a million dollars.
