all the features we offered. Other duties also include internal systems
maintenance, installation and upgrading. Also did special projects for the
Director of Technical Support that allowed our service to grow into other
cities around the country plus maintain internal office workstations and setup.
Also assisted on project RackShack.net (now known as Ev1servers.net) – the
physical installation of over 1000 Cobalt RAQ 4 I web servers to launch
“RackShack.net” (which changed names to Ev1servers.net). This is a fully
automated service where one could signup online, give billing information,
register a domain name and in just 20 minutes have FULL administrative access
the Raq-server thus becoming a “Webmaster” without
owning any equipment. Job duties also included setting IP’s and setting the DNS
for each RAQ into the DNS server. Each Raq would then
run “virtual domain hosing” and maintain its own DNS table of the sites it had.
Other duties involved are running basic
CAT 5 cable when needed. Other duties included processing payroll for company
roster, handling staffing levels and disciplinary issues as they arose.

were to assist customers with their dial up problems, email issues, settings

I had to trouble shoot the
problem from what the customer told me on the phone, come to a solution and

Job duties: Firmware audit
and modem functionality for all Compaq computers to be released. Job included
stress testing the modem to determine the performance envelope of modem, the
functionality of in-house bundled software as well as 3rd party software for
TAM Speakerphone functions. Skills include the compatibility of Compaq modems
with a variety of cellular phones and the performance with each. Extensive
familiarity of controller-less modems and their use of a VxD device drivers.
Extensive testing with the new CDPD modem capabilities which allow you to be
connected to a network (either Corporate Intranet or the Internet) via a radio
card interface and a small antennae. This would be the foundation for what
would later become the 802.11b, 802.11a and newly proposed 802.11b wireless
standards. Developed a testing procedure to test and chart for A/C current
leakage into laptops and desktop PC’s which caused 2 revisions in modem noise
handling design. The impact from the test allowed Compaq to release to the world
modems that could connect at higher speeds and stay connect while withstanding
a higher degree of A/C power noise.

Accomplishments:
August 2005: Help set
up and maintain along with a new friend Will Hawkins who had the same human
desire to assist in this time of need an adhoc network in Reliant Hall for the
American Red Cross for the evacuee’s of hurricane Katrina. I spent 1 week
during August keeping the pc’s used to allow the evacuee’s to register for
assistance for financial aid and to help locate their family members. To this
day I feel that week of helping others who had lost it all has meant more to me
than anything. Will Hawkins came from
